I started the business in February 2006, after receiving feedback to do so from friends, family and other fabric stores and reps. Having spent 15 years in the industry up to this point, I had plenty of knowledge and experience behind me, and I also wanted to do things differently offering a more personal service...
You may remember we had a store on Shore Street in Gourock for some time, before working from home and then moving on to our current location in Greenock in August 2018.
Before starting out for myself, I worked for another local company for nearly 7 years and a Glasgow based upholstery company for a further 8 years where I further improved my sewing skills as well as learning all other aspects of the industry, including managing the shop and the staff...
